The Bible

The Holy Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant Word of God and our final authority for faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in nature, power, and glory. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the eternal Son of God who took on human flesh through the virgin birth, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and now intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father. (Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:35; Rom. 3:24-25; Acts 1:9-10; Heb. 7:25)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers us for holy living and service, and distributes spiritual gifts as God sees fit. We also believe that divine healing is provided for in the atonement. (Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:4-14; Eph. 1:13-14; James 5:14-16)

The Nature of Man

God created mankind in His image, but through Adam’s sin we fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became separated from God — unable to save ourselves. (Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:22-23; 5:12; Eph. 2:1-3)

Salvation

Salvation is God’s free gift, received by grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ — not earned by human effort. (John 1:12; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Pet. 1:18-19)

Sanctification

Every believer is called to a life of holiness — set apart from sin and devoted to God — made possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 12:1-2; Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15-16)

The Church

The local church is the body of Christ, made up of born-again believers. We believe in the autonomy of the local church and observe baptism and communion as the ordained ordinances of the faith. (1 Cor. 12:12-14; Acts 13:1-4; Matt. 28:19-20)

Creation

God created the universe in six days. We reject evolution and related theories as inconsistent with Scripture. (Gen. 1-2; Ex. 20:11)

Human Sexuality and Marriage

God designed marriage as the union of one biological man and one biological woman, and sexual intimacy exclusively within that covenant. We reject any attempt to alter one’s God-given gender. We believe men and women are spiritually equal before God and encourage all who are called to serve Christ to answer that call. (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 1:26-29; Heb. 13:4; Rom. 16:7)

The Sanctity of Life

Human life begins at conception. Every unborn child bears the image of God, and abortion is the taking of innocent human life. (Ps. 139:14-16; Jer. 1:5; Luke 1:44)

Satan

Satan is real — the author of sin, the cause of the Fall, and the enemy of God and man. He will be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire. (Isa. 14:12-17; Rev. 20:10)

Missions

God has commissioned His church to take the gospel to every nation, tribe, and language. We are called to go to the world. (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:20)

Giving

Every believer is a steward of God’s resources. We believe in faithful, generous, and cheerful giving, with the tithe as the biblical foundation. (Prov. 3:9-10; 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 9:6-7)

Last Things

We believe in the imminent, personal return of Christ, the bodily resurrection of all people, and eternal life for the redeemed and eternal conscious punishment for the unrepentant. (1 Thes. 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Rev. 20:11-15)
